Platis Gialos beach is located about 4 km from the center of Mykonos town, a very popular beach on the south side of the island. It is also one of the longest beaches on Mykonos.
Platis Gialos beach is the most frequented beach on the island. Many buses bring people every half an hour to catch the caïques which leave Platis Gialos to all other south coast beaches (Paranga, Agrari, Elia, Paradise and Super Paradise).
